My upstairs
neighbors were
friends
who introduced
me to the
refinements
of pottery &
tasteful interior
decorating. I'd often find them drawing/coloring on blank matchbook
covers, making their own.
Seemed like everyone in
those days smoked, including me... 11 years
of Lucky Strike, non-filters.
They also introduced
me to Dylan, sold
me a guitar for $10
& threw in 10 lessons.
Couldn't get enough of color.... & checkered tablecloths apparently. I was quite enthusiastic,
thinking, everywhere my eye stops, there's a painting.
