This painting was done from the first page of a one-a-day drawing book from around 1971, 20 years later though, 1982. My parents had it for years and I took it back because I started disliking the color. Finally got around to adding some glazes. In those books i'd mostly just start drawing with no preconceptions, see what happened (see box/books). |
