AS-IS (finale)  Boxbooks (in the main gallery)    back  next (transition hallway)
The box books in these cases (provided by Eyedrum) began with a project for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Georgia (MOCA) where I reduced & copied drawings from one-a-day drawing books kept 1969-1974 and gathered them in cardboard jewelery boxes, doing an interpretation on the cover of one of the drawing within. The idea had been germinating for quite awhile, a desire to do some sort of non-traditional book. The MOCA call for submissions brought it to life and since then various other found boxes have migrated to my shelf.  On the main page, www.thinkspeak.net, there is a link to more detailed looks at the boxbooks.  (price list below)

They're all one-of-a-kind but some are more one-of-a-kind than others. Some have drawing copies, some have originals. Again, there's
a box books link on my main page for more detailed views.
