First Violin © 1985 Tom Ferguson Some paintings I gave
titles to challenge language that promotes roles & hierarchy as a
painting of a woman called Chairman & this one. The painting earlier titled, First Violin, is actually titled, State Senator
but I can't fix it due to a glitch I haven't solved yet. But what I
said there applies here and there as does what i've said here. One of
the
few in this "modular" series that is oriented "landscape, horizontal.
collection the Heritage Center,
Waycross, Ga., another in the Art Bus purchase program of old (late
80s).
